Carpooling is strongly recommended. Parking is on the blank, over-flow lots at the end of Towbridge Circle.  If you must park in the established parts of this neighborhood, do not block mailboxes, driveways, etc.  We request that all participants commit a FULL DAY when volunteering on a Construction project.

Every individual in your group MUST complete volunteer orientation on-line.  To access the on-line volunteer orientation visit our website www.austinhabitat.org.  Click on Volunteer and then go through the Registration / on-line Volunteer Orientation process (approx. 15 minutes).  This will allow you to get an agency overview, register as a new volunteer, and print out your liability waiver (which you must bring with you the first day you volunteer). 

On your project day we request that all volunteers arrive by 8 a.m., dressed appropriately and prepared for the weather by, wearing sunscreen, a hat, etc.  Also, bring a reusable water bottle or cup; we do have coolers of water on-site.  Our youth policy does not allow for volunteers under the age of 16.  Volunteers that are 16 and 17 may work on Construction, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 21.
